We have four high speed bottling and canning lines, and a full research & development lab on site for private label brands, new beverages, and in-house testing.

About the role:
Reporting to the Director of Operations, the Sanitary Welder Mechanic works with the other mechanics to keep our high speed production lines running smoothly, efficiently, and with minimal downtime.
Our ideal candidate for this role has extensive experience in sanitary welding of stainless pipes used a bottling or canning production facility. We are expanding quickly, regularly installing new lines and equipment, and we are looking for someone who is as excited as we are to get new production lines up and running.

Compensation:
$24 - $27 per hour, DOE.
What you'll do:
- Fabricate and install new process pipe within the tank room and production facility.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems using schematics, technical drawings and testing equipment as necessary.
- Execute Maintenance SOPs for production lines and critical systems, including: daily routine inspection, daily routine maintenance, planned preventive (condition- or volume-based) maintenance at regular intervals.
- Make recommendations for necessary spare parts and backup equipment for more efficient performance.
- Work with the Production team to understand their feedback from running daily shifts on the production lines. React quickly to recurring or extended down time with a repair or upgrade plan. When necessary, join production shifts to observe machine function and troubleshoot during production.
- Work with the Production and Operations teams to coordinate planned downtime to complete installs, repairs, or replacements.
- Maintain routine maintenance logs for all major machines and packaging equipment.
- Maintain performance and down-time/efficiency logs for all major machines and packaging equipment to better understand the impact of maintenance-led initiatives.
What you'll bring:
- 4+ years experience sanitary welding (TIG) and fabrication.
- Working knowledge in and experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, and conveyors.
- Working knowledge PLC programming and associated software suites is a plus
- Experience with servo motors.
- The ability to create and review control drawings and schematics.
- The ability to install, program and troubleshoot VFD’s.
- Understanding of wiring diagrams, electrical schematics, PI&D drawings and control schematics.
- Preferred: Can rebuild motors and pump heads
- Preferred: Bachelor's or Technical Trade school degree.
