Production Line Team

About the role
As a Production Line Team Member, you will be working on a high-energy production team making a variety of beverages. Reporting to the Production Team Lead, you will be responsible for operating machinery, maintaining production flow, and ensuring safety and quality standards are met.
This position is ideal for individuals looking to grow their skills in a busy manufacturing environment and contribute to a collaborative team.
As a company, we actively promote from within, and we’ll encourage all Production Line Team employees to learn from their Line Leads; work up to managing line teams; and later, shifts.
What you'll do
- Learn and practice all safety procedures, startup/shutdown procedures, and facility rules/GMPs.
- Operate machinery on the production line, understanding the escalation path for safety and/or technical issues.
- Monitor production output and ensure materials are supplied according to the production schedule.
- Keep the production line organized with the correct inventory to optimize output.
- Work with the Production Line Lead and Quality Control Technicians to manage inventory and documentation.
- Ensure finished goods are properly palletized and follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for pack-out.
What you'll bring
- 1-2 years experience in a manufacturing role preferred; not required.
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to understand, and learn to operate, production and packaging equipment.
- A desire to develop leadership skills, and grow with the company into a management role.
- Self-motivation to drive continuous improvement across the production team.
- Must be 21+ years of age or older.
Bonus points for ...
- Experience safely using tools and machinery associated with trade and/or maintenance work.
- Familiarity with typical warehouse/manufacturing equipment such as fillers, seamers, labelers, pallet jacks, and/or pumps/piping.
- Forklift certification.
Fine print
This position works in and around an active production facility: moving machinery, forklift traffic, glass, and ethanol vapors, with noise and temperature variation. It requires standing, walking, kneeling, climbing ladders, and working in tight or awkward positions for extended periods, and occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds. This is a safety-sensitive position: lockout/tagout procedures apply, and PPE is required in designated areas.
