Warehouse Material Handler
Who we are:
Very Good runs best-in-class beverage production for leading alcohol and alcohol-alternative brands.
Our first R&D Facility in Fort Worth has four high speed bottling and canning lines, and a full research & development lab on site for private-label brands, new beverages, and in-house testing. We tripled in size and output in 2023, and we have multiple larger facilities planned for 2024 and 2025.

About the role:
Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, the Warehouse Material Handler is responsible for the flow of materials moving through the warehouse: from unloading trucks, to proper materials storage and staging for the production lines, to picking up finished pallets from the production floor, and loading outbound trucks.
We recently installed a new flow-racking system that added hundreds of additional pallet positions on the warehouse side, and are looking for an experienced warehouse forklift operator to keep materials moving quickly and efficiently.
Compensation:
$18 - $22 per hour
Schedule:
4:00pm - 12:00am

What you'll do:
- Load and unload inventory from loading docks, delivery trucks, storage areas, and production areas.
- Store materials in assigned locations.
- Various daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning tasks, as assigned.
- Conduct regular recurring cycle counts of various inventory categories.
- Maintain warehouse inventory organization throughout the day.
- Coordinate with Quality Manager and Quality Technicians to perform inbound and outbound quality checks.
- Coordinate with Operations for daily shipping and receiving schedules, and ensure all inbounds/outbounds match BOLs and Purchase Orders/Packing Lists.
- Identifying and recording the location of inventory.
- Operate various machinery, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and scissors lifts, to handle materials and inventory.
- Drive trash and dumpsters to the back throughout the day; fill and operate baler daily.
- Comply with and adhere to all facility sanitation and safety regulations in materials receiving, storing, and shipping.
What you'll bring:
- 1+ years of warehouse experience
- 1+ years of forklift driving experience
- Forklift certification required
- Overall understanding of flow of goods throughout a warehouse
- Working knowledge of food product materials preferred
- Working knowledge of GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices)
- Ability to effectively and responsibly operate warehouse equipment and machines, including forklift, pallet jack, scissor lift, baler
- Enjoy working in a fast-paced, team atmosphere
Physical and environmental requirements:
- The use and wear of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- The ability to move, lift, push, and carry objects up to 50lbs.
- The ability to be on your feet for 8+ hours per day in a manufacturing/warehouse environment with variable temperatures.
